I love to travel, like a little too much, I would spend all my money if I could. In the summer of 2022 my partner and I quit our jobs and renovated a 1991 coachman camper for full time travel and living. We named the camper Dale, we gutted him, rebuilt him and outfitted him with solar power, a composting toilet and a diesel heater, fully self-sustaining and ready to hit the road! We drove to the southwest for the winter and have been living in Dale ever since, pretty much mostly on public land moving around every 2 weeks. My photos are from our travels exploring our beautiful country in our little house on wheels with our two cats, a dream come true after working very hard for it and not wanting to wait until retirement to start living life. We would not be able to do it if we did not have such quality public lands and roads to explore and basically live on for free. (Since we are self sustainable, we do not leave anything behind, we have a 30 gallon gray tank that we empty at dump stations when full, usually only every 2 weeks. We always leave no trace and our composting toilet has been great, keeping our waste inside the camper. Solar provides ALL the power we need. We keep all our trash and throw it away in dumpsters when we head to town. Fresh potable water is easy to find all around the US. Sometimes we go to campgrounds when there are no dump stations near by, or we want a hot shower, or are tired and want to stop for the night.) Life on the road, being a responsible boon docker, is easier than you think when you get the hang of it.
