Description

A black oystercatcher feeds in the tide pools below the Yaquina Head lighthouse. This beach is a popular place for people to explore the tide pools too. Stairs from the lighthouse provide easy access to the shore and a park ranger is often on site to educate anyone unfamiliar with the marine critters they encounter.
