On August 30th, there was a super moon due to come over the horizon as soon as it got dark. I searched for a spot in Grand Teton National Park where the moon rise wouldn't be blocked by a mountain or a hill. Fortunately, after driving down a very long dirt road near some remote campsites, I chose just the right spot to catch it coming up behind a row of beautiful trees that gave it some scale.
