This photo is a great representation of how photographers require patience and timing to get a good photo. I was lucky enough to stumble across a marmot lounging on the side of this cliff, and I stood around watching him for a while. Suddenly, another marmot came up to him and I was able to capture the split second in which they touched snouts. This was taken on a side trail just off the paradise glacier trail on September 8th, 2024.
