Description

Living and working on the Navajo Nation for a decade was life changing for me and my family. Canyon de Chelly was just a 10 minute drive from my home and was a place of solace and inspiration, especially during the pandemic. I captured this image in 2021, shortly after this overlook re-opened to the public after being closed for so long. Spider Rock has always been one of my favorite spots in the Canyon, not only because of its breathtaking beauty, but also because of its cultural significance. I was so happy to see it again.
