Description

At a recent Raft-Up event with 12 members (and 5 dogs) of the Florence Oregon Area Kayakers, a new member and her two Maltese dogs (though you can only see one of them in this photo) joined us for the first time in exploring the waters in the Siuslaw National Forest at Sutton Lake. The second image is of our Raft-Up group; though, only some of us can be seen. We had a great time exploring the lake and shoreline with the various flora and fauna of the area. Another paddler also brought his two red lab dogs. Though, we also saw wildlife including this brood (group of ducklings). As we ended our paddle, the clouds cleared and the lake view from the boat launch was beautiful.
