Little Finland, Nevada

Description

Little Finland is in a remote part of Nevada northeast of Lake Mead. This was a scary sunset because of the approaching storm. The access road requires driving through washes and I was concerned about the return to civilization :)

To me, this formation symbolizes courage, determination, and willpower needed for survival in wilderness because the forces of nature that shaped Navajo sandstone into this fairy-tale creature will paradoxically also destroy it one day.
