Description

While on a four-day visit to Yosemite in late October, 2024 I was taking photos of El Capitan with my DSLR on a tripod. Wanting to share this with family before returning home, I pulled out my cell phone and took this photo. Surprisingly, when I got home and began sorting my favorites, I preferred this version over what I got with my "real camera."

It was an awe-inspiring experience to see El Capitan bathed in golden light.
