Description

Lamplugh Glacier is a favorite site for cruise ships to pause in front of and take in the enormous ice field that is pushing relentlessly down to the bay. Lamplugh is roughly 160 feet high at the face, and about 3/4 mile wide. This tidewater glacier has advanced and receded significantly in the past century.
