Description

We came across Alexander and his two dogs in his makeshift pushcart making as they made their way to Amboy, California. We were on our way to Joshua Tree National Park, traveling along the edge of Cleghorn Lakes Wilderness Area. Alexander was kind enough to give me permission to take a few pictures of him and his happy Chihuahua, as the occasional car passed by. He is surely one of a dying breed of independent old timers who used to be seen more frequently in the western desert.
