Description

Title: Celestial Palace.
I wanted to capture the Milky Way rising over Cliff Palace at Mesa Verde National Park, so I checked Google Earth and Star Walk and calculated that in late June, a few days after the new moon for some added moonlight, would be ideal. I had to go through a fair amount of red tape to get the permit to photograph at night, but I think the result was worth it.
